Variety is the name of the game in our Machinery General role. From driving a tractor to fencing to working with our water specialist, you’ll keep one of our flagship farms humming with your general farm knowledge and ability to pitch in where needed. We’ve got a strong, stable team who are happy to upskill a teammate with a good work ethic and self-motivation.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys working on a busy farm but doesn’t necessarily want to handle stock. You’ll use your skills to support various teams here and you’ll be supported to grow and develop in areas that you’re interested in. This role can really be what you make it, with interesting projects on the go and lots of new farm tech being used.
We are looking for a positive, self-motivated person who wants to learn, work and grow along with the rest of the team.
Rangitaiki is New Zealand’s third largest farm, and Pāmu’s second largest farm, with 8317 ha supporting 85,000 stock units in beef, sheep, deer and finishing. This role comes with a competitive pay package that includes salary and health insurance (plus more). Accommodation will be discussed at interview.
