The Opportunity
From driving a tractor to taking on responsibilities for new and repair fencing requirements, maintenance work, looking after all machinery, and water maintenance to help keep this farm thriving.
Joining our close-knit team, you’ll spend the majority of your time managing yourself through a variety of tasks, like fencing, in the tractor and general farm maintenance.
The Farm
Recently featured on Country Calendar, Parikanapa Station is a 2,650 ha effective hill country station located in the Waerenga-o-kuri district, 40 minutes from Gisborne. This 25,000 su breeding/finishing property runs 9,000 lambing ewes and 1000 calving cows.
About You
If you’re someone who can turn your hand to most things on the farm and you enjoy fencing and tractor work, and you can self-manage your day, this could be the role for you.
You will also have:
· Proven experience in fencing and general maintenance work
· Excellent communication skills
· Good time management
· First class attitude to Health and Safety
· Positive attitude and initiative
· Current NZ driver’s licence
· Ability to operate and drive a tractor (advantage)
