Puketotara Farm is located just 15 minutes form Kerikeri, beaches and other outdoor activities close by.
 
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Beef Finishing Specialist to join our dedicated team at Puketōtara Farm, the Farm Manager would support you with the responsibilities of running a designated block within the farm, which amongst other things focuses on finishing bulls in a large techno system. 
 
You would be responsible for your own block of up to 400ha grazing up to 1500 bulls, farm maintenance, upkeep of fences, the water system, general stock work and supporting other team members.
 
You will work in with the rest of the farm team to help each other out at busy times.

About You
You will bring your passion, experience and can-do attitude to our team, ideally you will have a couple of year’s farming experience and you will bring:
 
·         Commitment to high standards of quality and safety
·         At least one dog (required)
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Enjoy working in a team environment and an ability to self-manage
·         A current NZ driver’s license
 
The Farm
Puketōtara farm is located 15 min from Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, Northland.   The school bus picks up at the gate (Kerikeri schools) and beaches and other outdoor activities are right on the doorstep.
