We are looking for a motivated individual, a person who is keen to accept responsibility, a person looking to advance themselves in agribusiness and a person that enjoys taking others with them on their journey.
As Stock Manager of Aratiatia Farm you will work alongside the Manager and other staff to achieve both personal and business goals.
Aratiatia is a 1989-hectare property running 19,500 stock units and as Stock manager you will have an integral role to play in this operation at all levels. Set within separate production areas the livestock portfolio includes a,
·         Recorded ewe flock
·         Angus beef breeding herd
·         Trade cattle
·         Dairy heifers
·         Deer
Excellent proven pasture management skills, including pasture and feed budgeting are essential. This along with your technical ability to record and analyse data will help you make informed and accurate business decisions.
The business and team are constantly seeking success and improvement, so being in a leadership role you would also need to be great at communication and documentation to organise the daily tasks and objectives for yourself and your team.
Aratiatia is located in a beautiful part of the country, with just a 5-10-minute drive into Taupo and local schools. This position comes with a renovated three-bedroom home and fantastic access to recreational activities within the Central Plateau region.
The role sits under the guidance of a supportive Farm Manager who encourages career development and offers a variety of responsibilities.
