Central Farm Services – Workshop /
Permanent - Off Farm
·         Great opportunity to start your career in operations management
·         Busy & varied role
·         25 minutes’ drive from Taupo or 45 minutes from Rotorua

Our Operations Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our Central Farm Service workshop humming.  From organising workflow for the team to ordering inventory to chatting with our customers, you’ll be in the middle of the action.

The Central Farm Services Workshop at Pāmu carries out repairs and services all sorts of farm equipment and vehicles in the Central Plateau, from two wheelers to Hilux utes and tractors .  There’s a lot going on in our workshop and you’ll work closely with our Workshop Manager to make sure that inventory and parts are ordered, invoicing is completed and reporting is prepared on time.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients as they call in and request scheduling.  You’ll feel comfortable asking exploratory questions to get an idea of the repair that’s needed so that you can work out who can do it and how long it will take.  Then you’ll take a look at the schedule and slot the repair job into the earliest available time.  As coordinator between our clients and staff you’ll be reliable, open and efficient at communicating.  Providing admin support such as invoicing, ordering inventory and parts, etc., will ensure that the workshop operates smoothly. You’ll also have the opportunity to demonstrate your analytical skills to help drive efficiency and organisation for the team.

If you’ve got a good head for operations and logistics and you have strong administration and follow through skills, take a look at this role. You’ll love being a part of this dedicated team and you’ll get to work amongst some really cool farm equipment.
