We have both Dairy Farm Assistant and Assistant Dairy Production Manager roles available across a number of our farms on Landcorp’s Pastoral Complex near Taupo. Farm sizes range from 800 – 1900 cows. As Dairy Farm Assistant your role is to perform day-to-day duties that include milking and general stock work. As Assistant Dairy Production Manager you assist the Production Manager with management of the herd and dairy operations and perform general farm duties.
What you will bring
•1 – 2 years of dairy farming experience
•First class attitude to Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental management
•Positive attitude and pride in your work and surrounding environment
•Restricted or full NZ drivers licence
If you are interested in the Assistant Dairy Production Manager role we are also looking for tractor driving experience and some Animal Health and Pasture Management experience.
Irrespective of the role you will bring a positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn and to work together with your co-workers.
