The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Dairy Assistant who is passionate about the dairy industry, loves cows, and never compromises animal welfare, to join a high performing team on a profitable milk farm. 
 
The manager and 2IC are very supportive and encourage their staff to develop their skills with ITO courses and have their learnings reinforced in a practical way on-farm.
 
Once you start, we’ll assess your competency and provide training where needed for the farm Ute, tractor, two-wheeler, etc., to aid you in completing your tasks.
   
The Farm
Bounty Dairy Unit is a 629-ha property, that winters 1600 cows and milks 1480 through a 60-bail rotary at peak.
 
About You
You will have a positive attitude and willingness to learn looking to develop and grow your dairy career.
 
You will also have:
·            An exceptional attitude to Health and Safety and Animal Welfare
·            Experience working in a dairy farm environment
·            A good eye for detail and a willingness to learn
·            Be punctual and reliable
·            The ability to work unsupervised
·            Effective communication skills
·            Full NZ driver’s licence

You’ll have a great work-life balance with a 6/2 roster (June -Jan) and a 4/2 (Mar – May).
