The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team on Resolution Dairy Unit.

You will join our close-knit team, and your main responsibilities will include milking, fencing, feeding out and stock work. 
This is a fixed-term role until the end of January 2025
.
Located between Taupo and Rotorua, this is a drive-in/drive out position, so you will need reliable transport.

The Farm
Resolution Dairy Unit is a seasonal supply dairy farm in a farm complex of 19, with 525 effective ha milking 1,080 cows at peak through a 60-bail rotary. 
 
It’s got a close-knit team that performs well and has good housing and facilities, including an in-shed feeder and milk hub data system. 
 
We offer 104 rostered days off per season, so you’ll be able to have a life outside of work.
 
About You
The main thing you will bring to this role is a positive can-do attitude, with passion and enthusiasm for dairy farming.
 
Ideally, you will also have:
·         A minimum of 1 seasons’ experience in dairy farming (preferred)
·         Any dairy or livestock related qualifications would be an advantage
·         First class attitude to Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental Management
·         Great team player and effective communication skills
·         Restricted or full NZ driver’s licence
