We have an opportunity for a Tractor Driver General to join our team on Wilanda Downs.

 

Your responsibilities include:

·         Tractor work

·         Feeding out in the winter

·         General farm maintenance work

·         Repair fencing

·         Water maintenance

·         Stock work

 

Dogs are not required but stock work will be part of the role.

Wilanda Downs is a 1679 ha effective finishing breeding hill country station with approximately 420 breeding cows and calves, 6,500 ewes and finishing 20,000 lambs a year. Wilanda Downs is situated 80km north west of Invercargill and approximately 40 minutes from Mossburn.

 

You will have a health and safety mindset, with broad farm experience to be able to support maintenance requirements for the farm.

 

You will also have:

·         Tractor operation experience

·         A mechanical mind

·         The ability to self-manage your time

·         A ‘can-do’ and positive attitude

·         Clear communication skills

·         A current NZ drivers licence
