We have a position available for an ambitious individual with a keen interest in the dairy industry to join us as a Farm Assistant on Quest Dairy Unit. This is a 430 ha block milking approximately 900 cows through a 54 bail rotary shed.
Located in the gorgeous Central Plateau and mere minutes away from one of the most desirable outdoor-living locations in the country, you’ll be able to do what you love in a supported environment. The role includes shared accommodation working a 6 and 2 roster.
A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn is necessary. This is a unique opportunity within a progressive organisation that will best suit someone who is looking to take a step forward in their farming career.
What you will bring:
A minimum of 1 year dairy farming experience
A positive attitude, self-motivation and initiative
The ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
Commitment to high standards of Health and Safety and Animal Welfare
Good communication skills
