The Opportunity
As a Dairy Farm Assistant, you will be bringing the cows in for milking, doing the milking, shifting both the cows and the young stock plus other duties as required. You will work in a roster system, running a 5:2 Roster, with 104 days off a year plus annual leave.
The four members of this team respect each other, work well together, do their jobs thoroughly, and they’re easy going.

The Farm
Earnslaw Organic Farm is located less than 10 minutes from Taupo and will milk 800 cows through a 54-bale rotary shed.
Excellent schooling options nearby. Friendly and supportive local community with school bus at the gate and easy access to a wide range of recreational activities.
About You
You will have a positive attitude and good foundational dairy farm experience or willingness to learn looking to develop and grow your dairy career, while we prefer some familiarity with farming and farm equipment, it’s not essential – we can train you.
