We have a fixed-term dairy farm assistant position available for Quest Dairy Unit. This is a 420 ha block, located close to Taupo which will milk approximately 950 cows through a 54 bail rotary shed. This role will cover different aspects of farming during the busy calving season.
 
If you have about a year’s experience in dairy farming and are keen on a full-time role for a couple of months we would like to hear from you. Ideally you would be available immediately.

A minimum of 1 year dairy farming experience
A positive attitude, self-motivation and initiative
The ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
Commitment to high standards of Health and Safety and Animal Welfare
Good communication skills
Pride in your work and surrounding environment
