We are looking for a reliable and highly motivated Farm Assistant to join our team on Wingpoint Dairy, located in the Wairarapa.
The Opportunity
Your day-to-day activities will involve bringing the cows in for milking, doing the milking, shifting both the cows and the young stock, and working in the calf shed. 
We have a robust health and safety regime at Pāmu, and have well maintained, up to date farm equipment that you’ll be able to use.  We’ve got good processes and procedures in place that you’ll be comfortable working within.
The Farm
Wingpoint Dairy is a 330 effective ha block, milking 850 cows twice a day through a 70-bail rotary, situated 15 minutes from Martinborough and 20 minutes south of Featherston.  We also have a dairy support block of 100 ha 10 km away from Wingpoint called Hillview where we raise our heifers.
About You
We are looking for some who has an eagerness to learn and develop their career in dairy farming.
You will also have:
·         Effective communication skills
·         First class attitude to Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental Management
·         Self-motivation, initiative and a passion for dairy farming
·         Current and full NZ driver’s licence
·         1-2 years dairy farming experience (preferred)
