We are seeking Calf Rearers to assist our team on Maronan Dairy Unit for the coming season. Maronan is located 15 minutes from Ashburton and is a 362 effective ha property. You will assist with rearing all heifer replacements. We are looking to rear approximately 300 calves this season. The roles will start either 20th or 27th July and go until approximately the end of September. The successful candidates will need to be flexible around work hours. Reliable transport essential.
What you will bring:
• An exceptional attitude to health and safety
• Some calf rearing experience would be ideal
• Able to lift 20 kg
• Be punctual and reliable
• The ability to work unsupervised
Effective communication skills and a good eye for detail
• Take pride in their work and surrounding environment
• Restricted or full driver’s license
