Dairy Production Manager – Pinta

We are looking for a Dairy Production Manager to join our team on Pinta Dairy Unit. Located close to Taupo and a short way from one of the most desirable outdoor-living locations in the country, you’ll be able to do what you love in a supported environment.

Pinta comprises 853 ha and milks 2050 cows at peak for seasonal supply with a 80 bail rotary shed.

You will have a positive attitude, have a demonstrated ability to meet targets, have a passion for dairy farming and feel comfortable in setting a good example for others. This role will assist with the planning and management of the herd and daily operations, and may take on a degree of responsibility for feed allocation, animal health and record keeping.

You will bring:
·         Minimum 3-4 years dairy farming experience
·         First class attitude to Health and Safety and Animal Welfare
·         The ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
·         Some computer skills and a willingness to learn
·         Excellent time and communication skills
·         Current and full NZ drivers licence
