We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Services Technician to join our dynamic team in the Western United States. This role is ideal for a professional with over 3 years of experience in field support, possessing a background in technical support, system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service standards.
What you'll do
- Conduct on-site audits, installations, maintenance, and repair of complex equipment and systems
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution both remotely and on-site.
- Ability to direct third party service providers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of service operations and customer interactions.
- Execute service projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Provide feedback to the engineering team for product improvements
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time during peak season.
What you'll bring
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service role.
- Strong technical skills with electrical assemblies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and execute multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the United States and occasionally internationally.
- Ability to work in the field, including going up and down stairs and ladders.
$52,000 - $54,000 a year
Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors, including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for stock options. We offer comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and 401k.
