Job Description

    • Comfortable talking about the technical details of information security with IT/IS colleagues, customers and suppliers,
    • You will have the ability to explain concepts, principles, policies and procedures in an engaging manner to build upon the existing IS (Information Security) programme,
    • You’ll do this through training and raising awareness of required behaviors, monitoring compliance with these requirements and promoting a culture of continuous improvement,
    • Manage and continually improve the information security management system including ISO-27001,
    • Assist with certifications such as PCI-DSS and PCI-3DS,
    • Manage internal and external audits,
    • Chair the Information Security audit meetings,
    • Manage information security training content and input into delivery of training via the HR & DEVELOPER team.

Technical Skills

    • Experience within a leadership position,
    • Hands-on, practical experience of managing an information security programme is essential,
    • Experience of owning and delivering information security initiatives, including awareness programmes, phishing simulations and training,
    • Knowledge of technological aspects of information security, including network architecture, the software development life cycle, penetration testing, DLP tools, patch management and vulnerability assessment,
    • Excellent IT skills and ability to assess documents and systems for conformity to internal and external standards,
    • Familiarity with principles of good data governance, cyber security and data protection,
    • Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and GDPR,
    • Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are highly desirable.
