The Platform Software Team is responsible for developing infrastructure software services required by our proprietary software which provides 5G/4G/3G/2G services for mobile providers worldwide. 

We are looking for a Platform Manager. As a Platform Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our platform infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security.

What you'll do:

    • Managing a team of 7 engineers (experienced and juniors engineers)
    • Technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the Platform team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
    • Development and integration of platform software for high-performance applications for applications running on the edge.
    • Facilitate deployment of cellular infrastructure applications on cloud-based X86 & ARM platforms.
    • Develop, maintain, and deliver cross-platform Linux distributions for a variety of platforms and CPU architectures.
    • Lead cross-team platform integration activities.
    • Define, write, and execute integration test plans.
    • Support product delivery activities and PoCs (Proof Of Concept).
    • Evaluating edge platform's performance.
    • Defining and resolving short and long-term stability challenges to achieve generic and yet highly optimized as well stable product.  

What you should have:

    • At least 7 years of practical experience in operating, analyzing, and debugging complex systems LINUX based.
    • 5+ years of experience in leading software development teams, hiring software professionals and building a highly performing team
    • Experience in C & C++ development of high-performance, real-time applications on Linux systems.
    • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration and networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network topologies)
    • Proficient in design, documentation, implementation, debugging and unit testing of software components.
    • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a sense of ownership and drive.
    • Must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player and be able to work independently in a global multi-site environment.

Nice to have:

    • Experience in developing BSP and device trees – advantage.
    • Knowledge and experience with DPDK & VPP – advantage.
    • Experience in cloud microservices architecture, operating K8s-based and cloud-native deployments on BM and edge clusters –advantage. 

Education:

    • B.Sc./M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech in computer science or electrical engineering
