Senior Engineer, QA
Job Description
- Utilize expertise in translating standards, feature documents and customer requirements into system level, subsystem
- Enode-B testing ( LTE ) system , RAN feature, Platform/Could Features, functional , performance/Stability Testing and Automation.
- Debugging issue on RRC, PDCP,RLC/MAC, Phy/L1, Platform and knowledge on other stack layer will add advantage.
- Will work on LTE features. (Handover , VoLTE , SRVCC , IRAT , CSFB ,MIMO, CA-2CC/3CC/4CC )
- Great to have knowledge in 5G(SA/NSA), RIC/xApp/rApp/Cloud/Kubernetes features and work models
- Understanding on Wireshark/L3 protocol message, RANAP, NBAP features,S1/X2 Interface, QOS, DRB,RTP, TCP/IP traffic flows
- Great to have in depth understanding 3GPP Rel-13 and beyond features.
- Validating various protocols over all the interfaces, creating test requirements, test plans, and detailed test procedures
- Performing test activities and troubleshooting software and hardware issues as well the customer’s issues
- Use knowledge of LAN/WAN, Routing protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, Tunneling and security protocols
- Good knowledge in system level debugging and problem solving.
- Understanding of Linux OS internals, TCP/IP, multi-threading
- Good understanding and expertise in tunneling, Core, security protocol implementation in LTE/5G.
- Hands-on experience in MOS Score evaluation tests and channel modelling tests, Simulator knowledge TM500/Azimuth Channel modeler
- Strong collaboration with R&D teams to discuss on requirements, product issues and mitigation.
Job Requirements
- Mandatory 6-10 Years of Experience in various protocols for feature, Performance evaluation/stability and troubleshooting issues of radio access technology
- Strong domain knowledge in RL/MAC,RRC,PDCP
- Automation scripting towards expertise level(Robot Framework/Python/Linux)
- Troubleshoot issues and get into technical discussions with R&D
- Utilize experience in hands-on system and End to End testing of 4G network
- Utilize expert knowledge in various protocols for interoperability, Stability/performance evaluation and troubleshooting issue
- Understanding on network KPIs and Counters
Education ; Bachelors degree in engineering in relevant field
