We are looking for a Junior Wireless System Engineer to join our North site (Kinneret area). The candidate will join the newly formed Engineering Customer Success organization. The position requires high level debug skills and deep learning/understanding of system architecture, SW infrastructure, wireless protocols and networking. 

Candidate will be responsible of leading the triage, debug and reproduction of various issues observed with our product in real-time conditions.

With a wide technical exposure to all network layers and product components, this position offers a great opportunity for learning and impacting on quality. 

What you'll do:

    • Get familiar with product design and technology standards (Cellular 3GPP, Open RAN, Cloud ecosystem) to provide timely and meaningful feedback on issues reported from field deployments of our Radio Access Network solution.
    • Analyze Stability, Performances and User experience aspects based on Customer Use cases.
    • Build end-to-end Lab setups based on debug requirements, with hands on simulators and monitoring systems.
    • Reproduce and validate customer-found defects and resolutions (For example: UE/mobile issues, physical RF/fiber connectivity, Throughput, Signal Processing and Call flows, etc.).
    • Suggest improvements and changes to the product or tools in order to improve customer experience and methodology.
    • Verify various Parallel Wireless Products and Functionalities to guarantee best-in-class Quality.

What you should have:

    •  1-2 years of professional experience in one of the following areas-system testing/integration, coding, debug.
    • Basic knowledge of RF systems and Radio protocols.
    • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot software system and/or end-to-end infrastructure.
    • Automation/scripting experience - Ability to create test scripts as per the requirements and execute the same with both in-house and standard test tools (Ex: Amarisoft, TM500, Wireshark, network/spectrum analyzers, Virtualization platforms etc).
    • Understanding of L1/L2/L3 layers in OSI Model, TCP/IP, QoS, LAN/WAN/WLAN, Routing protocols.
    • Knowledge of Linux/UNIX-based platforms. 

Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Computer Science Engineering - Must
    • Fluent English - Must.
