People Operations (HR) Manager
Washington DC
Executive /
Full Time /

Pathpoint is building a modern wholesale brokerage for the $120B E&S insurance market. Today, more than 20% of commercial insurance business is placed into the E&S market, yet agents, brokers, and carriers rely on analog, inefficient, and imprecise systems, paperwork and tools in order to transact business. Pathpoint is the only wholesale distribution platform that uses technology to connect carriers and agents around the country, streamlining and automating submissions, underwriting, binding, compliance, payments, and service more through technology — all brought by a team committed to raising the bar in E&S insurance.
Pathpoint is looking to bring on an experienced People Operations (Human Resources) Manager to establish and standardize efficient people processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will need hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, and administration of compensation and benefit plans. The People Operations Manager will support other managers across the organization to set development plans for their team members and conduct regular evaluations designed to hold people accountable to the commitments made to Pathpoint. In short, you will own the employee life cycle end-to-end. This is your opportunity to lead the Human Resources function in a maturing organization, applying your skills and experience to enable Pathpoint to continue scaling quickly and successfully.
A transition plan will be established to familiarize the new Manager with the systems and processes currently utilized, and you will receive extensive support from legal, finance and technology operations, as you strengthen and clarify Pathpoint’s Human Resources administration.
Ideally, the appropriate candidate will work in Pathpoint’s DC office alongside our CEO, where you will have regular contact with all significant stakeholders in order to safeguard and grow Pathpoint’s human capital. Attendance in the DC office at least 3 days per week will be crucial to your success.
