PatientPing is a venture-backed health technology company based in Boston, MA that is transforming healthcare delivery. We are building a national network that connects providers with real-time notifications when their patients receive care anywhere, so that providers can better coordinate patient care. Our customers include hundreds of health systems, physician organizations, and post-acute care providers across the country. Our vision is bold – to build a national care coordination network that allows providers to put patients at the center of their care.
Job Description:
We are actively hiring a full-time Skunkworks Lead to own development of new business initiatives. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to incubate and operationalize new business opportunities.
What You Will Do:
• Invent, Evaluate, Build, and Launch new businesses within PatientPing
What Success Looks Like:
In 3 months...
• Develop deep familiarity with core business
• Hold >30 meetings with constituents in new customer segment
• Categorize business opportunities for new customer segment
In 6 months…
•Identify business development partner in new customer segment
•Develop business plan
In 1 year…
•New business booked with implementation underway
•Pipeline of new opportunities growing
What You Need:
• BA/BS Degree
• 5+ years of payor-provider domain experience, ideally in a business development, customer-facing capacity. Includes familiarity with health plan and provider reimbursement dynamics and value-based care trends
• Track record of turning ideas into hard results. Intensely entrepreneurial with a nose for sniffing out incredible vs. great vs. good opportunities
• Experience interacting with C-level executives to understand their needs and build innovative solutions
• Highly accountable; takes ownership and drives sense of urgency
• Self-starter that needs little guidance but is also highly collaborative and thoughtful about how new opportunities will slot in with existing capabilities
