Position Summary:
The M365 Engineer (Cloud  Solutions Engineer (CSE) L1 or L2) is a vital part of the Partner journey. They focus on executing on professional service projects designed to enable our partner success.  Projects include email migrations from both on premises and cloud sources.

Essential Responsibilities: (includes, but is not limited to)

    • Execute on professional service engagements, adhering to established time lines and expectations set within a formal SOW
    • Email-related support, such as but not limited to the following:
    • Support to the public folder remediation efforts (e.g. SEM creation, addressing open tickets, etc.)
    • Troubleshooting and support during migration activities
    • Outlook client configuration and troubleshooting
    • Provide timely and relevant information to end-users and assist in alleviating pain points
    • End-User support as required for Outlook. SharePoint etc.
    • Ensuring continuation of consistent, stable, and robust production environments throughout migration process
    • Provide post-migration support
    • Perform Active Directory configuration and troubleshooting
    • Writing and updating operational documentation.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

    • At least two years technical and architectural knowledge of the following technologies: O365, messaging, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Windows Server, Active Directory, ADFS etc.
    • Previous migration experience to Microsoft O365 or M365
    • Migrate on premise emails to O365 without business disruption.
    • PowerShell scripting experience required.
    • Experience with general infrastructure, cloud platforms, and application hosting options with a detailed understanding of their service area within the Office Systems domain.
    • Ability to clearly communicate technical information
    • Ability to autonomously manage ambiguous situations
    • Strong interest in learning new and challenging platforms
    • Ability to troubleshoot deployments in an unknown ecosystem
    • Ability to identity and learn new technology and skills without explicit guidance
    • Capable of owning difficult situations all the way through to completion
    • Expertise in one or more Pax8 supported SaaS products
    • Willingness to develop technical skills outside of normal working hours
    • Desire to validate skillset through industry wide certifications

Required Education & Certifications:

    • Four (4) to five (5) years’ work experience
    • Required certifications(1+):, Microsoft MS100, MS101, MS900

Compensation

    • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $65,000 or more depending on experience
*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
