We are looking for a results-driven IT Administrator who thrives in a highly diverse, fast-paced, start-up environment. We want to harness your innovative thinking and proactiveness as we continue to build robust IT infrastructure that focuses on delivering the best service to our teams, ensuring high levels of service.

You will be at the forefront of streamlining the way we manage and respond to technical inefficiencies and in turn ensuring our staff are as productive as they can possible be in their day-to-day work.

As our IT Administrator, you will have these main objectives:

    • Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers
    • Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
    • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
    • Creating user accounts and performing access control
    • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems
    • Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data
    • Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures
    • Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems
    • Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, as well as providing IT support
    • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration

You will be a good fit if you:

    • Have 3 - 5 years of experience in an end-user support role on an IT Service Desk
    • Have prior experience with the following software/systems: Windows 10, Mac OSx, Apple iOS, Office 365, G-Suite, Service Desk Ticketing systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Products - Office, Exchange, Teams, Endpoint Protection software
    • Have used helpdesk ticketing systems (such as JIRA or Zendesk) to track and prioritise tickets
    • Able to participate in a 24/7 on-call support in the event of system outages
    • Are self-driven, and exceptionally detail and process focused
    • Able to multitask, manage, prioritise and be accountable for own workload.
