This role
The Operational Excellence expert plays a critical role in standardizing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring strategic alignment across projects. Its main functions include governance, resource management, performance tracking, and continuous improvement, supported by agile and project management methodologies and best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and governance of operational projects that impact merchant experience and performance.
- Act as the primary liaison between Merchant Operations and internal teams, coordinating resources to meet shared business objectives.
- Oversee merchant onboarding and ensure accurate, up-to-date partner data across systems to support operational integrity.
- Design and implement scalable processes, driving continuous improvement and efficiency across merchant workflows.
- Manage commission payments, promotions, and incentive programs in collaboration with Finance and Accounting teams.
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs, providing actionable insights and executive-level reporting.
- Ensure compliance, documentation, and consistency of administrative information related to merchants.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration to align merchant operations with company-wide strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations, with hybrid project management skills
- Analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Desirable previous experience in technology, mobile products, or the consulting industry.
- Previous proven experience improving operational efficiency.
- Previous experience launching apps and physical products.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment and working with a scalability mindset.
- Self-driven and results-driven.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present in person and in writing to non-expert audiences
