This Role

PayJoy is seeking an experienced growth marketing leader with expertise in B2C-oriented marketing technology and operations. You will be responsible for accelerating customer acquisition and retention by designing and implementing appropriate marketing technology for PayJoy, focusing on Credit Line and Card products.

You will work in close partnership with product, engineering and Go To Market leaders across multiple countries. You will have the ability to diagnose and propose right-size solutions for customer data management, customer engagement, automation with a focus on in-app, omni-channel and paid marketing. You will report to the Head of Go To Market, Credit Line and Card.

This is a high impact and urgent role with fast trajectory for career growth. If you have worked in a marketing, growth and GTM operations at a fast growing B2C company this is a good fit for you. You should have experience understanding and articulating technical goals, solving requirements and improving systems over time. You will need to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, risk, data, and commercial teams. Your initial focus will be on analytics platform, attribution, marketing performance management, data management (CDP), CRM and customer journey orchestration. You may have assessed, worked with or implemented vendors like: Braze, Hightouch, Customer.io, Intercome, Appsflyer, Segment, amongst others.

Responsibilities

    • Evaluate our current technology stack, business needs and implement appropriate tools for automation and scale of high impact customer retention and acquisition campaigns
    • Experience in marketing channels relevant to reaching the underbanked in developing markets - ranging from meta paid ads to whatsapp
    • Establish marketing technology stack with clear attribution for performance marketing, online-offline marketing and customer lifecycle campaigns
    • Deliver IRR positive marketing technology implementations that help PayJoy to scale our successful marketing practices 
    • Establish appropriate data collection and analytics, partnering with Data Engineering and BI teams to systematically measure impact from marketing actions and A/B tests

Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 8+ years of experience in marketing technology and operations in a B2C company, preferably with LATAM fintech experience serving underbanked customers 
    • Demonstrated impact scaling technology and operations in a marketing from startup to scale, including stage-appropriate MarTech investments with strong IRR 
    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering and go-to-market 
    • First-principles problem solver capable of independently assessing problems and proposing appropriate solutions 
    • Experience working with developer tools, APIs and integrations, capable of communicating clear and prioritized requirements to Product and Engineering teams
    • Experience in customer retention and acquisition, CRM, growth hacking, marketing, operations and product marketing
