This role
The Retail Insights Researcher is responsible for investigating the retail store environments in which PayJoy operates, to understand how it works and provide new competitive and differentiated commercial strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collect market information through on-site testing (face-to-face visits to partner stores), face-to-face survey.
- Understands the market of consumers and competitors, identifies consumption habits, purchasing preferences, income levels and access to financial services, Study consumer behaviors and attitudes and write up predictions for future sales trends.
- Monitors competitors to identify their marketing strategies, product offerings and prices.
- Analyze the data to transform it into reports that identify unexplored, neglected or not adequately addressed opportunities, to develop with the Go to market team new strategies such as campaigns, more efficient communication channels, tracking the results obtained.
Requirements
- Experience in research, marketing or a related field.
- Excellent people and communication skills, as you will spend almost all of your time visiting stores and talking to customers.
- Ability to understand, analyze, present and explain initiatives and their results.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile. Expenses such as gasoline, parking and some maintenance will be reimbursed.
- Fluent English language proficiency
