This Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with expertise in credit cards to lead our efforts in launching and growing our credit card offerings in the Latam region.
This role at PayJoy aims to bring finance to the next billion. As a Product Manager, you will have the ultimate responsibility for achieving this mission, with the support and authority to do so. You will connect and direct the engineering team and other PayJoyers worldwide. As the link between technical and business aspects, your days will be diverse, from collaborating with data scientists to working with UX designers. Your success will hinge on your leadership during setbacks. PayJoy has already gained millions of customers globally.

Responsibilities

    • Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the vision and strategy for our credit card product line in the Latam market.
    • Product Launch: Lead the end-to-end process of launching new credit card products, ensuring alignment with local regulations, market needs, and company objectives.
    • Growth: Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, including partnerships, marketing strategies, and product enhancements to increase market share and customer engagement.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape, customer preferences, and emerging trends in the Latam credit card industry.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Technology, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all credit card products adhere to local regulations and standards, collaborating with legal and compliance teams as necessary.
    • Customer Experience: Champion the customer by developing user-centric products and features, gathering feedback, and continuously iterating to improve the customer journey.
    • Performance Metrics: Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.
    • Budget Management: Oversee the product budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for development, marketing, and growth initiatives.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
    • 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a specific focus on credit cards. 3. Proven track record of launching and growing credit card products in the LATAM market.
    • Deep understanding of the LATAM financial landscape, regulatory environment, and customer behaviors.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for collaborating with diverse teams.
    • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
