This role

The Global Collections Senior Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and execution of Payjoy Global Collections strategy, owning all major Collections KPIs (recovery over control group by delinquency segment, Default rates, roll rates, and FPD15), by lead the Global Collections team, measure performance, trying and iterating experiments to improve recoveries, and implementing new tools to maximize agencies and teams´ efficiency.




Responsibilities

    • Design and implement preventive collections strategies across all markets.
    • Design and implement corrective collections strategies across all markets.
    • Measure team's performance on a weekly and monthly basis, reacting accordingly.
    • Implement new tools to automate processes and improve teams´ efficiency.
    • Manage and improve performance of outsourced agencies in all markets.
    • Collaborate closely with Risk, Data Science, country managers, and Finance teams to improve Collections results.

Requirements

    • Major in accounting, finance, economics, actuary, or related fieldCollections-specific softwares to handle operations at a global level with agencies and internal teams, integrating channels, strategic parameters, and performance measurement
    • Specific knowledge of collections strategies targeted at low or variable income customers in emerging markets
    • An ideal candidate will have deep analytic skills, should be a structured problem solver, great communicator, kind and coaching leader with his teams, and proactive and creative to propose new ways to improve recoveries
    • Desirable: CRM knowledge, Payment platform connections through APIs, SQL basic knowledge, and coding abilities
