This role

The Procurement Director is responsible for leading our procurement operations while managing a small dedicated team; implementing cutting-edge Procure to Pay (P2P) solutions like overseeing the implementation of Coupa, our chosen P2P platform;  and driving best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

P2P Leadership: Develop, implement, and optimize the Procure-to-Pay process to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across the organization.
Coupa Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Coupa, including system configuration, stakeholder engagement, training, and post-launch support.
Team Management: Manage and mentor a small, high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and seamless process integration.
Strategic Sourcing: Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to unlock value, achieve cost savings, and enhance supplier relationships.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement processes comply with global standards and mitigate operational risks effectively.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure and improve procurement performance and P2P efficiency.


Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
A proven track record in leading procurement operations, ideally within a global organization. Hands-on experience with Coupa or similar P2P systems is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving ambitious goals.
Familiarity with procurement practices in Latin America is a must.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive operational excellence.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
