As an Intern to our Legal Team, you have an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting our team of lawyers as they work on critical projects related to data privacy, contract administration, and corporate housekeeping.

You will:

    • Assist in implementing and maintaining data privacy policies and procedures. Conduct research on data protection regulations and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
    • Support the organization and maintenance of the contract database. Assist in reviewing, updating, and archiving contracts. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents.
    • Establish and maintain a systematic approach to file storage and protection for all legal files. Ensure all documents are properly categorized, indexed, and stored securely.
    • Assist with corporate housekeeping tasks, including preparing and organizing corporate records, maintaining corporate books, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
    • Provide general administrative support to the Legal Team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
    • Conduct legal research on various topics related to data privacy, contract law, and corporate governance. Summarize findings and prepare reports or memoranda as needed.

You may be a fit if:

    • You are working on your bachelor’s degree or are currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor (JD) program at an accredited law school.
    • Strong interest in data privacy, contract law, and corporate governance.
    • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

You will have an advantage if:

    • You have prior internship experience in a legal setting or law firm
    • You had prior experience with contract management software or legal document management systems.
    • You have knowledge of corporate governance practices and procedures.
