How you can help

Paytient is looking for a Sales Development Representative who is passionate about the power of Paytient's platform and mission to help remove cost as a barrier to care. You are a critical component of Paytient’s growth and are responsible for new business development. You will help define and execute a sales strategy to win business and expand Paytient’s presence in your vertical/territory.

The role reports to our Head of Revenue Operations and Strategy, and you can work from our Columbia, MO office, or anywhere within the United States.

Responsibilities

    • Generate inbound lead flow by prospecting and developing relationships
    • Set and confirm meetings for members of the sales team.
    • Achieve monthly quota/targets by developing and executing an effective sales strategy to qualify new, warm leads for handoffs to Account Executives
    • Become an expert in Paytient’s offerings and map our value proposition to new customers
    • Record customer information and sales activity in our CRM system
    • Work closely with the broader Sales team to ensure a smooth, multi-touch sales cycle with various stakeholders and decision makers

Experience

    • 1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales role, with experience in healthcare preferred
    • Experience prospecting and doing cold outreach via LinkedIn, phone, and email
    • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to influence prospective customers through storytelling
    • Drive to succeed and exceed sales targets
    • Highly personable, outgoing, and self-motivated
    • Ability to quickly learn and grasp the nuisances of Paytient’s product offerings and the value proposition across multiple customer segments 
    • Proficient with Hubspot  (or similar CRM tools) and Outreach 
    • Optional but helpful; experience working at an early stage startup
    • Permanent US work authorization required
