About the team: Paytm payment gateway enables thousands of online merchants to offer world class frictionless payment experience to their customers. We are present across large enterprises and startups including well known unicorns alike. We strive to take payments beyond an enabler and an instrument to drive revenue and user growth for our merchants. Online Payment Gateway is Paytm’s B2B Business regulated by RBI as it allows only authorized entities to conduct PA PG (Payment Aggregator Payment Gateway) business. This team is responsible for growing the penetration of Paytm’s PA PG business in the Indian merchants. 

About the role: The Role specializes in new business acquisitions and sales, and this too will form a core part of your daily role. Your interest in sales and the digital economy, and entrepreneurial drive will enable our Enterprise to manage and expand their businesses with Paytm latest products and solutions. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Paytm to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach users

Expectations/ Requirements: 
1. Mapping potential enterprise clients and scheduling meetings with them.
2. Effectively communicating with confidence with key stakeholders in the client organization (CFO, Head- Receivable/ Accounts/ Finance etc.
3. Persistent follow-up & rigorous lead monitoring to ensure sales closure
Acquiring knowledge of prospect and its products.
4. Conducting Wide and Deep research on their business to be well prepared for client meeting.
5. Building a network through client references for developing business.
6. Plan weekly- sales- cycle and meet prospective clients on a daily basis.
7. Preparing client and market mapping reports for his business segment.
8. Deliver sales pitches and presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits of the product to influence purchase.
9. Media Tracking to generate prospects.
10. Compile, analyse, and interpret sales data to provide reports to management on performance.
11. Prepare and present to management periodic (weekly & monthly) Accounts progress/closures. 
12. Responsible for timely invoicing and collection of payment from the client.
13. Managing the entire Sales Life-cycle including Lead Generation, Prospecting, Pitching, Offering, Negotiating and Contract Closure in his/her assigned region/industry/Category.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
1. Experience - 4-8years preferably from payment industry.
2. Proven experience working with large/Enterprise organisations with their Finance/Tech/Operations team.
3. Exposure to dealing with multiple Senior stakeholders in the client organization e.g.  CXOs.
4. Solid understanding of the end-to-end account management/sales- a process.
5. Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills.
6. Ability to assess client requirements.
7. Previous experience in Solution Selling is a bonus.

Educational Qualifications:
Graduation/Post Graduation or equivalent practical experience.
