Job Description:-

1. Work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable products deployed around the world.
2. Work with all the stakeholders to assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones.
3. Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit.
4. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise
contingency plans.
5. Assemble and coordinate with the teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team.
6. Drive various initiatives for Paytm Merchant Ecosystem with the Product team to define the roadmap.
7. Develop and deliver progress reports.
8. Overall a project manager with good technical (backend, frontend and database)
background along with project management and cross location team management skills.
9. Effectively execute communication management and project health checks.

Key skills :

1. Ability to understand the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage
complex projects with significant bottom line impact.
2. Ability to work with product managers in developing a strategy and roadmap
3. Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, Stakeholder
management and tracking of external commitments
4. 6+ years of Software Development experience; 5+ years of experience in building and leading strong engineering teams
5. Deep hands-on technical expertise
6. Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development
7. Able to work with Cross functional teams
8. Knowledge of JIRA or Similar tools
9. Ability to work under high-pressure and agile environment
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
