Job Description:
The Account Executive will successfully close new business through relationship based selling.  The ideal person for this role will have proven experience building on existing relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction with your accounts. They will be proactive and curious and have the ability to connect. They will display the type of leadership needed to rally the team and fuel its growth potential.

The ideal candidate is a nimble sales professional, born to pitch, and thrives in this competitive environment.  With a tenacious hunger to win business and close deals, no matter how unorthodox your strategy, you are in your element and ready for the challenge.  This highly visible and impactful role, will help position the team for future success.

This position can be located in the Greater Bay Area or Greater Salt Lake area.

Responsibilities:

    • Successfully close new business
    • Maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners
    • Master the ability to articulate our story
    • Achieve and exceed quotas 
    • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections 
    • Collaborate effectively with the sales team and others to drive new business 
    • Proactively keep abreast of our industry and the technology landscape to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers
    • Manage communication between upper management and the sales team, ensuring everyone if up to speed
    • Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors using internal tools/resources
    • Participate in brainstorming, meetings

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years experience and success in a sales role, preferably SaaS or Fintech
    • 4-year degree preferred in Business or related field 
    • Demonstrated leadership ability  
    • Experience with quota and commission compensation structure
    • Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business  
    • Ability to confidently and effectively speak with prospects at all levels 
    • Highly organized and strong time management skills 
    • Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with minimal direction Self driven, motivated and results oriented
    • Positive and passionate about whatever it is you do and have a bias for action
    • Excited by the prospect of being a member of a start-up within a growing organization 
    • Professional proficiency (written and verbal)
