About Team:
Paytm's central Program management, assurance & control team is responsible for owning & leading end-to-end management & Implementation of the key strategic, business problem-solving & process/cost optimization projects that impact the business positively in the strategic direction of the company. The team exhibits business process knowledge and provides implementable solutions for business progress. The overall objective is to add value to the organization.
 

About the role:
Purely a business consulting & problem-solving role that requires driving independent critical projects end-to-end.
Understanding business problems in detail by developing insightful analysis of businesses and their strategic and operational implications
Leading assigned process studies, identifying process improvement/design & Operating effectiveness level bugs/gaps. 
Ensure that identified bugs/issues are well defined and root causes are identified.
Suggest remedial action plan (incident or systemic)/ process improvement points for rectifying the gaps identified.
Involves Project management covering all aspects of the projects including defining the scope, and plans, managing timelines & high-quality deliverables.
Interface with the business/product for rigorous follow-up for implementation of the recommendation and providing support for the same.
Identification of cost-saving, Optimization opportunities
Analyze data from multiple angles, looking for trends that highlight areas of concern or opportunities.
Open to work in a dynamic & challenging environment.


Expectations/ Requirements:
Understanding Process excellence, and control concepts, identifying gaps and suggesting best practices.
Processes oriented and have hands-on experience writing SOP’s/ Policies.
Practical exposure to Data Analysis and familiarity with IT tools and audit techniques.
Internal Stakeholder Engagement.
Good verbal & written communication skills for coordinating across teams.
Excellent team player, comfortable with working with all levels within the company

 
Key Skills/Experience Required:
Preferably Chartered Accountant/ MBA (with a Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Process excellence/ program management/ internal audit (preferably from a reputed consulting firm)/candidate from the Payment Industry is highly preferred.

Education:  Qualified CA or MBA is a must
