At Paytm Insider we're looking for a QA Engineer Automation to join our team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Experience with the design and development of App Automation frameworks, Test Feasibility Analysis and estimation.
- Hands-on working experience with Java language must.
- Hands on experience on - Selenium, Java, Maven, TestNG, Appium, Postman, Charles etc.
- Experience with API Automation framework development & testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation.
- Good knowledge of Database (SQL, MongoDB)
- Good knowledge of at least 1 programming language like JAVA, node JS etc.
- Excellent logical ability to understand a problem.
- Automate functional, regression, and smoke tests using open-source tools like Rest Assured.
- Create tooling around the entire testing workflow, all the way from test case management, test data creation, automatic bug captures, test progress measurement etc.
- Define test specifications for functional, integration and performance testing.
- Work in collaboration with development & product teams in continuous build & deployment process
- Report test coverage and participate in troubleshooting.
- Experience in Black Box and White Box testing
- Create and maintain test plans as our product grows in functionality.
Requirements:
- BTech or MTech in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 2-3 years’ experience with API Automation testing
- Experience with Postman and REST API testing
- Knowledge of any of MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Awareness of common security vulnerabilities and related testing techniques
- Self-motivated, especially with respect to learning new software tools and best practices in software quality assurance.
- Start-up mentality: self-starter, proactive, flexible.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
