Position : Manager / Senior Manager

Job Summary:
The Factory Quality Control professional will ensure the quality and reliability of Payment Terminal
throughout the manufacturing process.
Will be responsible to implement rigorous quality standards, conduct inspections, and collaborate
with cross-functional teams to meet industry-specific requirements and customer expectations.
Maintain team of 6 to 8 QC specialists : working for PDI , Quality Standards SOPs at Paytm Service
Centres ,Merchandise & Accessories inspection . Might involve travel for Audit Purposes.

Key Responsibilities: -
Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality control procedures specific to devices ensuring
compliance with standards like ISO 9001, FCC, and TEC certifications. Conduct environmental and
electrical testing to verify device durability under varying conditions.
Inspection and Testing: Test EMI/EMC compliance to ensure devices meet electromagnetic
compatibility standards.
Conduct power supply unit (PSU) tests
Proficiency in using Testing Tools and Techniques tools like Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), X-
ray inspection systems, and environmental testing equipment.
Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software like SAP QM , WMS or Minitab .
Analyse failure modes using techniques like FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directives.
Verify compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards for payment domain devices.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with production teams to implement Six Sigma and Lean
Manufacturing principles for process improvement.
Optimize assembly line processes for components like antennas, displays, and batteries.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test results, including conformance, performance, and
interoperability reports.
Prepare documentation for TEC certification and other regulatory approvals.
Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate supplier quality for critical components like microchips,
sensors, and RF modules.
Conduct audits to ensure supplier compliance with technical specifications.
Customer Feedback Integration: analyse warranty data and customer feedback to identify recurring
quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications
Degree in fields like Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or Quality
Management
An advanced Master’s degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering is advantage.
Quality Management Certifications:
Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt): Expertise in process improvement and defect reduction.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor: Knowledge of quality management systems.
EMC Compliance Certification: Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility standards.

RoHS and WEEE Compliance Training: Knowledge of environmental regulations for electronic
devices.
