About Us: Paytm Payments Services Limited houses the Paytm payment gateway business which enables thousands of online merchants to offer world class frictionless payment experience to their customers. Online Payment Gateway is Paytm’s B2B Business regulated by RBI as it allows only authorized entities to conduct PA PG (Payment Aggregator Payment Gateway) business. This business is responsible for growing the penetration of Paytm’s PA PG business in the Indian merchants.

Role Overview:
The BIN Operations Executive is responsible for managing the lifecycle of BIN (Bank Identification Number) updates received from card networks (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, AMEX). This role ensures the accurate and timely configuration of BINs in the internal payment routing system (Paytm's BOSS panel) to support seamless transaction processing across various payment modes and bank gateways.

Key Responsibilities:
BIN Management & Updates:
Receive and verify BIN master files from card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, AMEX) on a regular basis (weekly/monthly).
Identify new BINs or updates to existing BINs (e.g., changes in issuer name, card type, product type, etc.).
Ensure correct mapping of card type (Credit, Debit, Prepaid), issuer name, issuing bank code (IIN), and country of issuance.
Data Entry & Configuration:
Upload/update BIN details in the Paytm internal database (BOSS panel) in the correct format.
Ensure accurate tagging of BINs with respect to:
Card scheme (Visa/Master/Rupay/AMEX)
Paymode (CC/DC/Prepaid)
Country and bank name
Product category (e.g., Platinum, Commercial, Corporate, etc.)
Check for duplication, conflicts, and misaligned BIN data before upload.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Coordinate with the product/tech teams to report and resolve BIN-related issues or mismatches.
Align with Business Operations, Risk, and Routing teams to support routing preferences and fraud controls based on BIN logic.
Share regular reports with stakeholders on newly added, updated, or deprecated BINs.
Testing & Validation:
Perform post-update validation to ensure correct BIN routing.
Participate in UAT testing for any changes in the BIN handling module or BOSS panel.
Documentation & SOP Compliance:
Maintain proper logs of all changes made, along with date, source file, and user details.
Follow standard SOPs for change control and ensure audit readiness.
Support audit and compliance teams with logs and evidence when required.
Escalation & Support:
Investigate transaction issues related to incorrect BIN configurations.
Work with card schemes or banks in case of mismatched or unknown BINs.
Track BINs that may need to be deprecated or corrected based on feedback from bank partners or internal systems.

Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in any stream; preference for candidates with experience in Banking/Payments domain.
1–3 years of experience in card operations or payment gateway operations.
Strong understanding of card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, Rupay, AMEX) and BIN structure.
Hands-on experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and internal dashboard tools (e.g., BOSS panel).
Attention to detail and ability to handle large data sets accurately.
Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with internal systems like BOSS, PG dashboards, and BIN routing systems.
Working knowledge of UAT processes and basic SQL will be an added advantage.
