We're looking for a seasoned QA Engineer who will play a pivotal role in shaping the development, quality, and scalability of our platform.
What you will do
- Executing a comprehensive testing approach encompassing automation, end-to-end, and other relevant testing methodologies.
- Collaborating closely with the engineering and product teams to understand requirements, devise effective test plans, and enhance overall product quality.
- Engaging with product teams to elucidate testing requisites and strategies, fostering a culture of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and tests to support UI, services, and API testing.
- Leading the automation efforts to ensure coverage across our microservices architecture, front-end environments, and APIs.
- Utilizing tools like Playwright for UI automation, Postman, OpenAPI for API testing.
- Showcasing strong design, coding, and debugging skills, primarily in Python.
- Ensuring effective CI/CD integration, and leveraging app analytics, monitoring, and logging tools such as Splunk or Prometheus to derive testing insights.
- Ensuring seamless communication within the team in both Hebrew and English.
What you bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Proven expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, API automated test development, and CI/CD.
- Strong hands-on design, coding and debugging skills.
- Strong hands-on experience of designing and developing automation frameworks for UI Services, implementing Playwright tests.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Charles.
- Familiar with using app analytics, monitoring, and logging tools such as Splunk, Datadog or New Relic to provide deeper testing insights.
- A strong background in analyzing stories and requirements and delivering rapid test case creation and execution for multi-disciplinary web, and backend applications
