Role Overview:
PDI Technologies is looking for a Product Manager to help manage multiple simultaneous projects of varying sizes from start to finish for a nationwide consumer-facing loyalty program. As a Product Manager, you must have a well-developed creative process to generate, develop, and curate new ideas. The PM will work directly with our business and customer teams to determine the ideas to be worked on based on feedback received from strategy and development processes within the company. The Product Manager works closely with key customer stakeholders and supporting company teams to visualize, define and deliver the product roadmap. Prior experience in Product Management, Product Owner, or Business Analyst role for a consumer-focused loyalty program, mobile app, website, and CRM (Customer Relationships Management) tool is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Support teams to bring awareness and understanding of new features and enable them to provide support to our customers as new functionality is deployed
- Own the process and creation of developing and publishing clear Business Requirements by working with customers and business teams to understand requested functionality
- Be the voice of the company to target customers, and develop a feedback circle to test new software-based product concepts in real customer environments
- Work with Legal, Business Development and Sales teams to ensure customer agreements are viable and SLA’s can be met
- Serve as a product evangelist, particularly with Sales, Business Development, LOB Leadership and other business teams to help them understand the vision and roadmap of the platform
- Develop sales collateral to enable field teams to be more effective (including presentations, tailored proposals, scripts, etc.)
- Collaborate with teams to review output during sprints, answer questions about desired functionality/outcomes
- Own product launches end-to-end – working closely with marketing and other product management teams to ensure successful releases. Working with business teams to create the overall go-to-market (GTM) strategies and plans
- Perform work with a high degree of autonomy; may include some evenings and weekends when necessary; some travel may be required for customer visits and industry events
Qualifications
- 5 - 9 years of experience working as a business analyst, product manager, product owner or similar role
- Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to help others, act and seek out resources to excel within the role
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms
- Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to socialize ideas and influence decisions without direct authority
- Collaborative in nature with an ardent desire to dig in and learn independently and as well as through asking questions
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to detach from chaotic details and visualize beyond the minutiae
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain experience in the Convenience Retail Industry, Loyalty, ERP, Logistics or Financial transaction processing solutions
