Role Overview: 

As an Application Analyst technical leader, you will work with both technical and business teams to enable highly available systems that meet the business objectives, including supporting key business initiatives.
You will play a key role in maintaining system uptime, troubleshooting application-level issues and servicing data requests from business teams.  This will require you to be comfortable working in a command line environment on dedicated and cloud infrastructure.  You will also be asked to lead technical discussions related to critical issues and provide advisement on the best possible solution as well as research and remediate security vulnerabilities.

May be required to be on-call after hours or on weekends

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead technical projects, discussions, and mentor team members.
    • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers and distributed applications.
    • Automate tasks, perform data mining, and restart applications when necessary.
    • Collaborate with departments to resolve software bugs and issues found during QA, beta, and production.
    • Adhere to IT policies, PCI security practices, and manage system users.
    • Research, address security vulnerabilities, and lead security-focused initiatives.
    • Advise on problem resolution, infrastructure adjustments, and security remediation efforts.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
    • 9+  years of experience in software development or infrastructure management
    • Working knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, ICMP, SSH, LDAP, DNS
    • SQL writing ability
    • Understanding of Data Governance practices
    • Understanding of Data Security practices
    • Ability to identify problems, and effectively communicate solutions to peers and management
    • Advanced working experience with AWS
    • Advanced working experience on top 10 OWASP

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Snowflake data platform a plus
