ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a hardworking, creative, and organized team player to help drive our international marketing efforts and kickstart our next international growth phase. In this role, you’ll connect the dots between Peak Design headquarters, the international sales team, and our wholesale accounts across various segments – keeping the latter inspired and engaged in the process. Our ideal candidate possesses subject matter expertise in wholesale marketing and is a collaborative teammate who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Note: This is a remote, full-time contract position. Applicants must reside within the EU. A Lisbon, Portugal-based candidate is preferred.

What You'll Do

    • Own wholesale partner marketing coordination: collaborate with our international distributors and key retailers to execute joint marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, sales, and Environmental and Social Impact goals.
    • Drive marketing strategies for retail/environments hyper-localization, ensuring that our brand messaging and marketing language is tailored to specific regions and demographics.
    • Directly support marketing managers across the Peak Design partner network to ensure the smooth execution of key account marketing campaigns, product launches, and community initiatives in various countries.
    • Represent Peak Design at off-site partner events, trade shows, and other relevant industry gatherings, ensuring our brand is effectively and creatively communicated at these events.
    • Support marketing efforts by collaborating with regional partners to optimize channels to develop and execute social media strategies for EMEA & APAC.

About You

    • 3+ years of experience in a wholesale or partner marketing role, preferably in the photography, outdoor, or tech industries.
    • Located in the EU, with ability to travel at least 30% of the time (i.e. about 12 weeks per year), within EMEA and internationally to the US, Middle East, and APAC.
    • Cool under pressure. Things get hectic, especially around launches, and the unexpected is almost assured to happen when you bring new products to life.
    • Adept at planning, scheduling, and re-planning/re-scheduling. We move fast and nimbly and value the ability to pivot at any point in the game.
    • Strong ability to run efficient, organized meetings.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Understand marketing strategies, content creation, and social media platforms.
    • Experience working for a Corporate Social Responsibility/Environmental and Social Impact-conscious brand or startup is a plus.
