Peak Design is a product design company. We make an ever-growing line of durable, sustainably-built bags, travel gear, camera gear, and phone accessories for a wide swath of commuters, creatives, and adventurers. In an increasingly digital world, we think it’s pretty rad to make actual physical things that people use (and love—our customers tend to be loyal and passionate).

Workplace Operations

We’re looking for an individual who fires on all cylinders - a jack/jill-of-all-trades who can act like a true owner of our office environment and HQ culture, while filling in gaps that span workplace and business operations.

You should already know, or be self-sufficient enough to figure out: how to turn a wrench, operate a VPN, maintain a 3D printer, and keep a variety of plants alive. You’ll be expected to execute a breadth of tasks but also take initiative - you look around a room and can’t help but identify how it could run more smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities
- Inventory and restocking of: Peak Design products, communal food and beverages, and office supplies.
- Management of office organization and cleanliness and holding colleagues accountable to workplace policies and norms.
- General office maintenance including, opening and closing blinds, watering plants, emptying the dishwasher, and other miscellaneous tasks to support the overall office environment.
- Oversight of incoming/outgoing packages, shipping, mail retrieval and sorting.
- Onboard new hires to the office environment; coordinate and assign desks, keys, and other hardware/equipment. 
- Support the planning and execution of on-site events and preparing the office for quarterly in office team weeks.
- Liaise with building management, handymen, cleaners, shipping carriers, and other vendors as needed. 
-  Support departments and teams with miscellaneous in-office needs: e.g. Wholesale team with pre- and post- trade show preparations such as organizing, loading, and unloading product and supplies. And video production team with shoot load and setup.
- Oversee new hire laptop and monitor procurement; support onboarding and offboarding of employees with physical tech infrastructure.
- Support office tech infrastructure - WiFi, meeting rooms, printers, and 3D printers and ad hoc team member tech issues.

Plus: developing new systems, processes, and policies related to the execution and innovation of all of the above.

Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time position with a starting annual salary of $70,000 plus comprehensive benefits including: unlimited PTO, 80% employer-paid health premiums, 401k with employer match, and much more.

Onsite an average of 3.5 days per week at our headquarters in San Francisco - Dogpatch neighborhood (2325 3rd St).
