As our Controller, you will be responsible for direct supervision of treasury and accounting functions, managing a team of four and reporting to our VP of Finance. Primary responsibilities include daily oversight of all payment processes including cash inflows from multiple sales channels and daily cash outflows to thousands of operators on our platform through numerous payment channels, and supervision of the monthly close process.

The Controller will also be part of a team that creates and implements policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document treasury and accounting issues in addition to creating procedures to make the related processes more efficient and accurate.


    • Handle all incoming and outgoing banking transactions on behalf of the company
    • Implement and maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of 
    • Submit periodic reports detailing the company's present financial situation and forecasting cash flows for the coming months
    • Implement and maintain company policies and internal controls regarding documentation and accounting of receipts, payments and other financial information
    • Continual monitoring of operating and restricted cash 
    • Oversee daily chargeback processing
    • Seek to maintain a positive professional relationship with partner financial intuitions


    • Coordinate the preparation of annual tax return with outside firm
    • Manage the process of recording transactions by department and compare costs incurred to budget and performance analysis 
    • Review and recordation of journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity
    • Preparation of workpapers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances
    • Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
    • Preparation of monthly financial statements and related footnotes
    • Preparation of the year to date cash flow
    • Perform cash projections to effectively manage cash balances 
    • Supervision of all accounts payable 
    • Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
    • Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
    • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
    • Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective
    • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time


    • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. The degree should be obtained from a well recognized university
    • CPA


    • 8+ years experience in the accounting and finance sector
    • 3+ years in a position equivalent to a controller or higher responsibilities, preferably in the payments or travel industries, or a marketplace/platform
    • Big Four audit experience is preferred but not required
    • Strong experience in both the private and public accounting sectors is preferred but not required
    • Qualified track record in building and managing teams

    • Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
    • Detail-oriented and ability to envision all aspects of business finances from large scale to minute
    • Strong understanding of banking and payment processes
    • Accountable for specific performance
    • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
    • Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same
    • Good GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
    • Exceptional work ethic
    • Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
