Peek is looking for an experienced, talented, strategic and resourceful leader as our Chief Operating Officer. Our COO will be responsible for managing the overall success of our rapidly growing 100+ person Utah office, including fostering a strong culture, maintaining positive morale, overseeing our Utah recruiting efforts, and coordinating with Peek’s executive team to ensure that things are always running smoothly and our operations teams are hitting their goals. Externally, the COO will drive in-market brand awareness, handle local government relations, and represent Peek at relevant Utah events. This person will join our executive leadership team and report to our CEO, Ruzwana Bashir.     • Responsible for the overall success of the Utah office, with an emphasis on our onboarding, support, customer success, HR & recruiting teams
    • Represent the Peek Utah team as a member of our executive leadership team, ensuring close alignment with our teams in San Francisco, Seattle, New York and Chile
    • Work with front-line management teams to ensure the Utah team achieves their operational objectives
    • Champion and ensure employee happiness and professional development
    • Manage all Utah budgeting and expenses, working closely with our VP of Finance
    • Represent Peek at local events, such as Silicon Slopes, industry conferences, and career fairs
    • Forge strong local and state government relationships 
    • Coordinate with the executive team to ensure the Utah team has all tools and resources needed for success


    • 15+ years of operating experience, preferably at a fast-growing SaaS technology company
    • 5+ years of experience working in an executive management position
    • Prior experience scaling organizations, and managing people & large teams
    • Experience at a growth-stage SaaS and/or marketplace business is a plus 
    • Entrepreneurial attitude with self-driven mentality
    • Ability to work as a collaborative member of the executive team with a positive attitude and professional behavior
    • High emotional intelligence, ability to quickly build rapport & trust
    • Comfort with independent decision making
    • Data-driven mentality, strong business judgment based on strong analytical thinking
    • Prior experience dealing with sensitive HR issues
    • Experience working as part of or with a remote or dispersed team
    • Creative problem solver
    • Experience working with local government organizations a plus
    • A passion for travel!
