Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and process oriented Demand Planning Analyst to develop demand predictions that enable our company’s growth path.  The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for all demand related processes that ultimately converts a demand signal into a ‘make’ or ‘buy’ signal for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams.  This includes pulling and analyzing historical data, modeling, preview meetings with main stakeholders, developing a presentation that is concise yet informative, and culminating with a presentation to the Exec team.

This is a detailed-oriented role that requires extensive modeling experience while continuously improving through measuring forecast accuracy and bias.  The person in this role should truly enjoy developing and testing hypotheses to refine the drivers of the model - seeks excellence.  The role requires you to develop and maintain a 12-month demand forecast by SKU at minimum that factors in value add from the Commercial ad Marketing teams.  You will need to consider how the organization will transition in and out of programs from a demand perspective.  At times, you will be asked to perform what-if scenarios to allow the Executive team to determine the best path forward.  You will manage the S&OP Demand Review meeting on a monthly cadence.  You will be working with various functions throughout the organization, so proven interpersonal skills are a must.  To be successful in this role, you should be analytical, methodical in your processes, and remain adaptable to potential shifts in requirements.  Possessing a continuous improvement mindset will enable you to prosper in this role.  If this resonates with you then please apply and let’s chat.

What You'll Do:

    • Continuously analyze how demand is actually shaping within each Channel and why
    • Collaborate with Marketing stakeholders for value add inputs to the demand forecasts
    • Maintain and continuously improve the demand planning model and the related drivers
    • Measure forecast accuracy and bias to continuously refine the inputs and outputs
    • Manage the monthly S&OP Demand Review meeting
    • Perform ad hoc analyses such as what-if scenarios

Knowledge Requirements:

    • BS in Applied Statistics, Data Science, Analytics (or equivalent degree), MBA is a plus
    • Strong forecasting knowledge required with a minimum of 3 years of demand planning experience
    • Advanced proficiency with modeling in Google Sheets or MS Excel, including experience with complex formulas
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • SQL, Python experience is a plus
    • Critical thinker who is passionate about their work and possesses a continuous improvement mindset
    • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Travel, Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    • This role requires you to be in the office 1-2 times a week
