Role Summary:
As an IT Systems Analyst you'll be the go-to person for handling in-depth technical problems, whether it's infrastructure, security, or advanced user support for both Windows and Mac devices. In addition to end-user support, you’ll help shape and carry out our IT roadmap, lead key projects, and work closely with teams across the company to make sure tech initiatives get delivered smoothly and effectively. 

This role is an excellent fit for someone who is not only technically sharp but also enjoys seeing projects through to completion, solving problems at scale, and collaborating with leadership to help grow and improve IT operations. 

The IT Systems Analyst is expected to:
- Provide expert-level Tier 3 escalation support and root-cause analysis for persistent or critical technical issues
- Deliver high touch, white glove, desktop support to Penta employees across both Windows and Mac machines
- Support infrastructure-related tasks with servers, networking, identity management, and security tools (e.g., EDR/MDR/SOC)
- Provide troubleshooting for on premise hardware such as printers, and A/V equipment 
- Work with third-party vendors and MSP partners to ensure seamless IT operations
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Mentor and support junior IT staff across all levels 

The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of IT support experience in a mid-to-enterprise scale environment
- Proven proficiency in advanced Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, including network diagnostics, cloud platform governance, and security solution management.
- Exceptional experience providing desktop support for Windows machines
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communications skills and the capability to work well with a variety of internal stakeholder audiences
- Project coordination or leadership experience is a plus
- Experience troubleshooting, and providing support, for Mac machines is a plus 
- Industry-recognized certifications in areas such as infrastructure, security, cloud platforms, and/or project delivery is highly desirable 
- Examples include CompTIA Security+, AWS or Azure Administrator, Google Workspace certifications, ITIL Foundations, or project-based certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). 

Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position will be $77,000 - $92,000 per year, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

Location and Schedule:
For this position, we are only considering applicants in the greater New York City area that preferably can join our team in our NYC office three to four days a week.
