Penta is seeking a director to join our Global Insights team. Global Insight Directors at Penta lead multiple client deliverables and internal projects and work in a fun, fast-paced, and challenging environment. You will be an experienced intelligence specialist with a sound knowledge of reputation; a master in the complex methodology underpinning our algorithmic technology, fluent in the needs and challenges of C-level communications professionals, and bringing industry expertise to the role.

Directors are responsible for all components of client and internal project management: overseeing the design and delivery of various intelligence solutions including reputation, risk, and ESG, through close consultation with Penta’s customers, organizing teamwork internally, and guiding and mentoring analysts. A successful candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience, is intellectually curious, eager to learn and contribute, and has an interest in public policy.

Responsibilities:
 - Day-to-day lead/manager for your team's work and managing incoming requests and communications with clients
- Insight report production and delivery, ensuring quality products and timely response to client questions
- Designing and developing insight reporting and uses of Penta data to answer clients’ needs, collaborating with other Penta teams as necessary
- Presentation of customer reports to department heads, directors, and executives
- Methodology development and iteration
- Managing a team of Analysts; including training on new skills, giving real-time feedback, and mentoring
- Ensuring the team has the necessary substantive expertise to develop high-quality products for the client
- Project managing internal team assignments, collaborating with other Penta teams as necessary

Qualifications:
You will have a blend of technical knowledge, industry specialism/s and relationship-building acumen and will act as a conduit and a consultant to translate and deliver the intricate and ever-changing needs of our clients into bespoke solutions and our weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual insight reports. 

To thrive within this role, in a fast-paced environment here at Penta, you should have the experience, ambition, and grit to succeed and should demonstrate the following:

- 5-7 years of related experience, ideally in a communications role or function, and with an economic or statistics background via education or experience
- The ability to quickly master Penta’s proprietary methodology and quantitative processes - Penta’s proprietary technology is unique to the company, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of how our technology works is key to success in the role
- Excellent, demonstrable knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong statistical knowledge and the analytical ability to turn data into insights A nuanced understanding of the business value of reputation and the proxies used to measure it
- Previous demonstrable experience working or advising on reputation and communications issues is highly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Location:
This position is for US-based personnel and preference will be given to applicants in Washington, DC metro areas who can be in-person in-office three days per week.
$85,000 - $100,000 a year
