As a Strategic Marketing & Therapy Development Manager, you will play an integral part in supporting strategic sales initiatives in India. Reporting into India’s Country Manager, you will support the sales team in accomplishing sales objectives by building strong customer relationships and developing/implementing therapy development solutions for identified disease states (both neuro and vascular). Please note that this is a field-based role in India. You must reside in India.

What You’ll Work On
• Partnering with PEN India sales team and Distribution channel partners, develop and implement plan to increase adoptability of Mechanical Thrombectomy (MT) in treating Stroke, PE, ACS, DVT and ALI – Therapy Development
• Identify champions/KOL for each therapy segment and utilize them in developing the MT market.
• Customize Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) to Indian scenario and implement it in India.
• Develop Podium Strategy and Implement in all national meetings.
• Manage the Fellowship programs.
• Develop and measure KPI’s related to Therapy Development projects.
• Plan and organize Medical Education Programs Develop (PEN Academy and PEN Outreach Program)
• Plan, manage and execute National and Regional Meetings.

What You Contribute
• A Bachelor’s degree in science or related field with 5+ years’ experience working directly for a multinational company in a similar role in Strategic/Therapy Development within India, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in Cardio vascular/Endo vascular/Neuro vascular areas
• Strong Clinical background (case support)
• Proven track record in developing Strategy and launching products that are innovative and unique in the Indian market.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to convince channel partners, hospital purchasing and doctors to utilize our highly innovative technology.
• Proven track record of clinical based selling
• Innovative, “Can-do” attitude and “Outside the box” thinker.
• Preferred to have MBA from reputable university.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience desired
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously

Working Conditions
General home office, laboratory, and hospital environments. Will be required to travel for business both domestic and international travel from 20% -50%. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees and external clients at all levels on a daily basis.
